Onboarding
Sit back and relax. This is what we do.
We have successfully migrated thousands of attorneys to the cloud (and counting).
Don’t trust your cloud migration to a general hosting company with no legal technology experience or a local IT consultant new to cloud computing.
With Uptime Practice you don’t have to be an IT expert (or even have one on the payroll) to move to the cloud. We’re experts in executing near-seamless migrations of legal software, documents and email to the cloud.
1. Discovery & Assessment
We will analyze your practice and assess your current IT infrastructure, your software applications and your documents. This digital blueprint helps ensure that nothing is missed in your transition to the Cloud, and to ensure you get the most from your new cloud solution.
2. Planning & Coordination
Based on our findings in the discovery process, your assigned cloud migration manager will draft a comprehensive migration plan for your firm: the roadmap for your transition to the cloud.
3. Build & Prep
Next we will provision your cloud services including your private cloud servers, exchange mailboxes and more. We will install your software onto your new cloud server and make sure everything is running smoothly before migrating data.
4. Data Gathering
Prior to your cutover we will work with you to collect all of your data that will be migrated to the cloud. This includes your documents, your historical email and your application data. During the planning phase we will determine the best method to physically transfer the data to our cloud.
5. Cutover
The day of the cutover–a day and time of your choosing–is when we place your data, applications and email in place, and the day you go live with your new cloud solution. Your cloud migration manager and his or her support team will work closely with your employees to ensure a smooth transition. We painstaking put all data for each user and application into your new cloud platform.
6. Training + Support
Your first day in the cloud we will train your entire staff on how to log in, find their applications and documents and work in the cloud. We'll make sure every printer, scanner and peripheral works and will help each user setup their mobile devices.
We will continue to provide post-implementation support of your cloud environment, your applications and your printers & peripherals. We’ll help you add new applications when you need them, add (or remove) employees and provide big-picture technology consulting when you need it.
