We’re excited to announce a new edition of our award-winning private cloud service for law firms:
Uptime Practice Essentials
As the market for legal-centric cloud services evolves, the need for more options and nuance for law firms does too. This new edition of Uptime Practice was developed to meet the needs of a growing demographic of law firms.
Uptime Practice Professional, our flagship product, is an all-inclusive private cloud designed to host and manage all elements of a law firms technology. Practice Professional includes secure cloud hosting for a firm’s applications, files and file-system, Microsoft Office, Hosted Exchange, local virus protection and unlimited IT support. The Professional edition of Uptime Practice provides an end-to-end, fully managed IT platform for law firms; and while it’s exactly what many law firms are looking for, its not the right fit for every firm and situation.
Last year we launched Uptime Practice Express, our entry-level private cloud offering. The Express edition of Uptime Practice provides secure cloud hosting for a single application (and nothing more). Express is a great fit for firms that want to move a single application to the cloud but don’t want to make major changes to their file storage platform, email or other applications.
But there’s a growing demographic of firms that need something between these two offerings; something in the middle. Many law firms today want the security, reliability and mobility of a private cloud, but aren’t necessarily ready to move everything to the cloud. They just want the cloud essentials.
Today we announce the launch of Uptime Practice Essentials. This new edition includes hosting for multiple applications, Microsoft Office, cloud storage for files/folders (file-system), but without hosted Exchange, local antivirus or local IT support.
Uptime Practice Essentials is a great fit for firms who:
Want to retain a local IT support provider for support outside of the cloud.
Use and want to keep their own Office 365 subscriptions.
