Cloud Computing for LexisNexis Consultants

CIC’s: How hosted practice management will help your consultancy and your clients.

In March of this year we had the pleasure of being part of LexisNexis’s Intersect partner conference in Raleigh, NC. It was a great opportunity for Uptime to meet more members of the LexisNexis team as well as some amazing, well-regarded LexisNexis Certified Independent Consultants.

It was at the Intersect conference that we announced that Uptime is developing a channel program exclusively for LexisNexis CIC’s. During the conference we received a lot of thoughtful feedback on would make an ideal channel program to best position CIC’s to leverage the cloud for their clients.

One thing is certain: Uptime Legal Systems and LexisNexis CIC’s are well-aligned and share a single, common goal: to empower our clients to practice better. To this end, at Intersect Uptime’s Aaron Eittreim presented to CIC’s the benefits of cloud computing–specifically hosted practice management–to law firms. In this presentation, Aaron explored topics important to CIC’s and their clients, including:

  • Cloud computing: Breaking past the buzzwords
  • Hosted Practice Management (there’s more to the cloud than just web apps)
  • What to look for in a cloud service provider for your law firms
  • The considerations and requirements unique to law firms in the cloud

In case you missed it, you can watch the complete presentation here.
